I started Black Thread Studio with a simple goal in mind: to create a place that makes it easy for people to connect who share the same interests and passions in stitching. My journey has been a long and winding one, but I'm proud of where I am now.

My Story
Hello Everyone! I am so happy that you have stopped by to visit. I also hope that you find various & sundries on my website that have you coming back for more. I started stitching as a young girl. See the picture above. That evokes such memories for me of spending time with my gram. I spent so much time with her where she showed me unconditional love, teaching me to stitch everything including my favorite yo yo's. She taught me how to cook great lithuanian comfort food and even speak a few choice words in lithuanian.
"Aš tave myliu" ( I love you) is how I will end my introduction.
There is so much more I want to share with you and learn about all of you.

At Black Thread Studio, I believe that building a strong and supportive community is key in helping us all find our joy. That's why I created a space that invites you to come along with me. I hope to foster a sense of belonging and connection among all of you, not only through our stitching, but through our shared experiences and kind hearts.
Inspiration
I am forever inspired by my friends and family. My kids, Paige & Sam. My son Sam lives on forever in my heart, and in the sentiment of 'Bring More Flowers'. I share his story openly and with lots of love for anyone who wants to listen. Most of what I stitch is to help me find my way through, to 'the beauty in grieving'.
This, like strong thread binds us together.
